Lens Hood PH-RBN77

Lens hoods are part of the optical system of a lens. It reduce lens flare and can prevent damage to the front lens element.
Based on this, lens hoods are part of the scope of delivery of most PENTAX lenses.
It is strictly recommended to use the lens hood.

For easier operation of filters, e.g. polarising filters, the lens hood is provided with a recess which is protected by a cap. Please mount the lens hood in a direction that the opening points downwards (away from the light).
